Kittiwake stands on an elevated position above the town of Dartmouth. A three storey, bright, sunny house, with the most wonderful panoramic views of the estuary, Kingswear, and out to sea. The house is furnished to a high standard, with room to relax and enjoy the delights and sounds of Dartmouth.
There is always something to watch from the decking area or on a colder day from the various Juliette balconies; with all the main reception rooms and bedrooms commanding the best views of Dartmouth.
Entering via the front door, directly off the road, you will find a welcoming entrance hall with stairs to the main reception room and doors radiating off to a large cloakroom ideal for offloading upon arrival.
The first of the two bedrooms is located on this floor and benefits from fitted wardrobes. A king size bed positioned opposite a large window, flooding the room with light, boasting remarkable views of the Dart Estuary. The family bathroom is located next to the bedroom; this has a fully tiled shower cubicle, hand wash basin, toilet, heated towel rail and mirror.
The stairs give access to a light and airy lounge which consists of two settees, a relaxing chair, side tables, television, DVD player, gas fire and also homes a host of reading, viewing and gaming material for all to enjoy. The Juliette balcony overlooks the estuary and all its glory.

This comprises an open plan kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a gas double oven, microwave, fridge, wine store and dishwasher. A small utility can also be found on this floor, housing a second fridge, washing machine and store cupboard.
The French doors lead straight onto the decking area, with steps leading down to a gravel garden.
The main feature of the house is the magnificent decked area, which is sunny throughout the day and into early evening. There are various seating positions to take in the view, either on the top decked area or lower down on the small garden area.
The decking offers al fresco style living and leads on directly from the kitchen area which can be seen on the website. It truly is magnificent and a place you will want to return to.
A full parking pass comes with the house; this provides parking in Mayors Avenue, opposite Marks and Spencer’s. A place is not guaranteed and is only subject to availability; however it is quite a large carpark and spaces are often found with ease. There is further parking available around the town but this is restricted from May to September.
The road to Above Town is very narrow and only has one turning point which is just past Kittiwake. The town is only a short walk, but due to its elevated position it is steep to return back to the house.
